☶ over ☴ · Mountain over Wind
蛊。元亨,利涉大川。先甲三日,后甲三日。

Mountain over Wind. Things left unattended have spoiled.

The Lines

初六:干父之蛊,有子,考无咎,厉终吉。

Line 1 — Setting right what has been spoiled by the father. Inherited problems. Dangerous but necessary.

九二:干母之蛊,不可贞。

Line 2 — Setting right what has been spoiled by the mother. Inherited emotional patterns. Handle gently.

九三:干父之蛊,小有悔,无大咎。

Line 3 — A little remorse. The cleanup causes some regret but the alternative is worse.

六四:裕父之蛊,往见吝。

Line 4 — Tolerating what has been spoiled. Seeing the decay and doing nothing.

六五:干父之蛊,用誉。

Line 5 — Setting right with praise. The cleanup done skillfully.

上九:不事王侯,高尚其事。

Line 6 — Does not serve kings and princes. After cleaning up the inherited mess, you're free. Build your own.
