The Nature
Discipline made material. The wealth that comes through method, not windfall.
禄存 is Yin Earth. Patient, accumulative, unshakeable. This is the vault. Not the lottery. The person with strong 禄存 builds wealth the way water fills a reservoir: slowly, consistently, and with a depth that surprises people who only saw the surface.
禄存 always travels with 擎羊 on one side and 陀罗 on the other. The prosperity is real, but it is flanked by sharp edges. Wealth preserved is wealth defended. That defence has a cost.
Where It Appears
In your Life Palace: you are constitutionally cautious with resources. You save. You plan. You do not gamble with what you have built. People call this conservative. You call it sane.
In your Career Palace: financial industries. Banking. Accounting. Administration. Any career where the management of resources is the skill.
In your Wealth Palace: strong wealth accumulation through effort and discipline. Not sudden. Steady. The kind of wealth that survives a recession because it was never dependent on conditions.
In your Home Palace: property accumulation. Real estate. Physical assets that appreciate.
What Goes Wrong
Isolation. 禄存 locks the palace it occupies. The wealth is preserved, but the palace becomes a fortress. In the Life Palace: the disciplined person who becomes rigid. In the Partnership Palace: the relationship where financial security replaces emotional connection.
The flanking stars (擎羊 and 陀罗) mean the palaces on either side of 禄存 are always under pressure. Prosperity has neighbours, and the neighbours are sharp.
The Gift
Security. Not comfort. Security. The knowledge that whatever happens, there is a floor beneath you that you built with your own hands. 禄存 is the star of the person who can lose everything external and still have reserves. Because the reserves are internal.
