陀罗 is Yin Metal. Circular, grinding, relentless. Where 擎羊 cuts forward, 陀罗 grinds in circles. This is the energy of the person who cannot let go. The argument replayed at 3am. The decision revisited for the hundredth time. The project that keeps spinning because stopping feels like failure.
陀罗 always sits one position counterclockwise from 禄存. It is the other guard. Where 擎羊 attacks the threat, 陀罗 holds the ground. The cost is that it holds the ground forever, even after the threat is gone.
Where It Appears
In your Life Palace: persistence is your defining quality. When you commit, you do not stop. This builds empires. It also builds prisons. Know which one you are building.
In your Career Palace: delayed results. The career that takes longer than everyone else's but, once established, cannot be shaken. The tortoise in a world of hares.
In your Blessings Palace: the mind that will not rest. Thoughts that circle. The inner grinding wheel that processes everything twice, three times, twelve times.
In your Partnership Palace: the relationship you cannot leave even when you should. Or the partner who will not let go. Persistence in love is loyalty. Persistence past love is 陀罗.
What Goes Wrong
The loop. The thing that stopped serving you three years ago but you cannot stop doing. The skill that became a habit that became a cage. 陀罗 does not know when to stop. That is its nature and its trap.
The Gift
Permanence. What you build with 陀罗 energy does not collapse when you look away. The groove the top carves into the stone is there forever. Choose carefully what you persist at, because it will last.
