The Constitution
A chart with no rank on its face that summons standing from the empty side. A 庚子 or 壬子 day master whose branches are crowded with 子, holding no officer star, uses the massed 子 to clash open the officer hidden in the opposite branch 午. A 辛亥 or 癸亥 day master with many 亥 does the same against 巳. The chart shows no authority outright and draws it by clashing the empty facing branch — summoning rank from the void.
This is one of the clash-summoning 杂格. Its whole character is drawing standing not from what is present but from what is absent, struck into being from across the chart. The authority is real but unmanifest — flown in from the empty seat by the force of a massed branch.
It forms toward 贵, honour and standing, and breaks if the clashed branch is already filled (a 午 or 巳 present) or if an officer star shows openly. The reading is whether the clashing branch is massed and clean and whether the absent officer stays absent.
What You See That Others Don't
You see the standing that can be drawn from absence. Where others can use only what is on the chart's face, you sense the rank held in the empty seat — the authority that can be struck into being from across the span by a massed branch. The reading is constitutional. A chart that flies its officer in from the void perceives and works with what is not there.
You also build authority from concentration. The massed 子 or 亥 is the gathered force that powers the clash; your standing is summoned by the weight of what you have concentrated rather than what you display. That capacity to draw rank from a concentrated, unmanifest source is the formation's gift.
What Most People Get Wrong About You
They read your lack of visible rank as having none, your reliance on the summoned and absent as insubstantial, your standing as unfounded. The reading sees the empty face of the chart and misses the authority flown in from the void.
飞天禄马格 is not someone without standing. It is someone whose rank is summoned from absence — struck into being from the empty side by a massed branch, real in effect though not shown. The unfoundedness the world reads is the same subtlety that lets you draw authority from where there appears to be none. You are not lacking standing; you are flying it in from the void, and a rank summoned rather than displayed, to those who read only the surface, can look like its absence. The formation breaks precisely when the empty seat is filled or the officer forced into the open.
The Pattern You Carry
The configuration runs when the clashing branch is massed and clean and the absent officer stays absent — the gathered 子 or 亥 striking across the empty span to summon rank from the void, standing drawn from absence rather than shown. The whole formation rests on the facing seat staying empty.
The trap is 填实 — the seat filled. If the clashed branch (午 or 巳) is already present, or an officer shows openly, there is nothing to summon and the formation collapses. The work is to keep the facing seat empty and the clashing branch concentrated — to let the standing remain flown in from the void rather than forcing the officer into the open, where the formation that lived by summoning from absence would dissolve.

In work, you belong where standing is drawn from concentrated, unmanifest sources rather than displayed — roles where your authority is summoned from reputation, position, or accumulated force not worn on the surface.
