The Constitution
Resources that become standing. 财 is transparent together with 正官 or 七杀 — Wealth alongside the Officer or the Killing — and the wealth feeds the authority. The current runs from 财 to 官杀: money is the root from which position grows. When the wealth is strong, the authority has a real source beneath it, and the chart owner builds power and place on the back of what they can resource.
This is standing earned through means rather than through pure credential or pure force. Wealth funds the authority; the authority gives the wealth its weight in the world. The two are linked into one ascent — the resources nourishing the position, the position dignifying the resources.
The configuration's whole question is carrying capacity. Authority fed by wealth is heavy, and someone has to hold it. The chart wants a day master strong enough to bear the 官杀 that the 财 is building. Where the self can carry it, the wealth-to-authority current is one of the cleaner roads to real position. Where it cannot, the same current becomes a danger.
What You See That Others Don't
You see that position is bought with resources, not granted by merit alone. Where others believe standing comes purely from being deserving, you understand the quieter mechanism — that wealth, deployed well, funds the authority that recognition follows. The perception is constitutional and unsentimental. You read how power is actually resourced.
You also sense the weight of what you are building toward. Authority funded by wealth is a load, and some part of you measures whether you can carry it before you reach for it. You know that position taken without the strength to bear it is not a prize but a crushing.
What Most People Get Wrong About You
They read your resource-driven climb as buying your way up, your funding of position as something less honest than earning it. The reading mistakes the mechanism for a shortcut.
财生官杀 is not someone who skipped the work. It is someone who understands that authority has a material root and who builds the root before claiming the height. The resourcefulness the world reads as merely transactional is the same clear-eyed grasp of how standing is actually sustained. The position, when it holds, is fully carried — funded, borne, and earned in the specific way this configuration earns. What looks like buying in is building the base that the authority above it requires.
The Pattern You Carry
The structural rule is the chain from 财 to 官杀 with a day master strong enough to bear the result: wealth feeding authority, the self carrying both. When the self is strong, the current is clean — resources convert into durable position, and the position renews the resources.
The trap is a weak day master under both heavy 财 and heavy 官杀. The classics name it 财多身弱 and 财滋弱杀 — wealth nourishing a killing that then turns on an owner too weak to bear it. Here the very resources meant to build standing instead feed a pressure that crushes the self. 伤官见官 also breaks the chain, severing the authority the wealth was meant to fund. The work is to confirm the self can carry the authority before letting the wealth build it any higher.
Where This Shows Up
In work, you belong where resources translate into position — enterprise, finance, fields where capital deployed well becomes standing and influence. You do best when your strength matches your ambition, building authority on a base you can actually hold. The danger is overreach: funding a position larger than the self can bear, where the climb itself becomes the thing that breaks you. Match the height to the strength and the ascent is sound.
In relationships, the same dynamic of resource and standing can appear — bonds where what you provide becomes the basis of your place, and where the weight of what you are sustaining must be matched by your capacity to sustain it. The work is to ensure you are not feeding an authority or an obligation heavier than you can carry, so that what you build supports you rather than turning, fed and strengthened, against you.
