The Constitution
A chart given over entirely to Water. The day master is 壬 or 癸 Water, the branches gather a Water bureau (申子辰) or the Northern direction (亥子丑), and Water so dominates the chart that the reading follows it. This is one of the 一行得气格. 水曰润下 — water is the moistening and the descending — and its nature is 智, wisdom, fluidity, the circulating and the deep.
A clean 润下格 person carries that nature whole. Not Water among other elements, but Water as the entire chart: the deep intelligence, the adaptability, the circulating flow running pure. The self is the single element, fully — fluid and deep all the way down.
The formation runs with Water, with the Metal that feeds it, and with the Wood that drains it cleanly; it is broken by Earth, which conquers Water and shatters the single-element purity. The reading is whether the Water dominance is total and whether any Earth threatens to dam it.

The work is to keep the formation pure and to recognize the Earth that breaks it: the single element thrives by following its flowing nature and is endangered only by the force that blocks it.
